About Us

about us - regenerate chiropractic

Dr David Hewson grew up in Perth and from a young age had a keen interest in health and sport. Turning his attention to a career in health care, Chiropractic stood out as an obvious choice as its focus is on the treatment and prevention of complaints without the use of drugs and surgery. It also gave the opportunity to learn more about how the body works holistically and the effects of correct diet, exercise and lifestyle choices on health.

David graduated from Chiropractic at Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic) and a Bachelor of Chiropractic and has been serving the community ever since. With a passion to provide both efficient and effective care for everyone, David has tailored a treatment protocol that focuses on putting the patient first, by combining best research with clinical experience.

Specialising in manual techniques combined with soft tissue therapies and an emphasis on rehabilitation, from children to the elderly, everyone is treated as an individual. A personalized approach is used to provide the highest level of care for each patient.

Appointments/What to expect:

Initial consultation and treatment:

On your Initial consult there is a focus on assessment. It is our job to find out if you are in the right place. We need to know if any further testing will need to be done, whether we are able to manage your care and if you need to be referred to another health professional. Depending on the severity of your complaint, further tests such as X-rays may be ordered (Bulk billed) and if safe, treatment will be given.

Review of Findings:

Your second visit is focused on a review of the clinical/diagnostic findings gathered in the initial consult. This will allow us to discuss/explore the specific findings of any tests and clinical assessment performed on your first visit. An initial care plan will be recommended that is tailored to your individual needs. There will also be a comprehensive treatment, which will reflect your treatments over your initial care plan.
